The North Penn School Board is granting a 50 percent rebate, up to $487.50, based on certain eligibility requirements and income levels for homeowners and renters, effective May 12, 2020.
The rebate is received as a check and can be expected within 30 days of the completed application being received by the school district. Copies of school tax bills are not needed.
To qualify for the rebate, applicants must have a household income of no more than $35,000 annually and:
- be 65 years of age or older; OR
- be a widow or widower aged 50 years or older; OR
- be permanently disabled and 18 years of age or older.
